The 27th Baghdad International Book Fair wrapped up over the weekend. It is an opportunity for Iraqis to purchase books from local and international publishers, attend book talks with authors, and increasingly with Iraqi politicians as well. The most significant of these talks took place on the penultimate day with Humam Hamoudi, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI) and member of the Coordination Framework leadership council.
