Iraq removes remaining Covid-era restrictions
Iraq’s cabinet has abolished the Higher Committee for Health and National Safety, a body that was established in March 2020 to coordinate Iraq’s national effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. The decision by the Council of Ministers directed the Ministry of Health to remove the requirements for an international Covid-19 vaccine certificate for Iraqi nationals and foreigners travelling to and from Iraq, starting December 1. Many countries around the world have lifted travel restrictions over the course of this year.
