Mohammed Al-Halbusi’s leadership within Sunni politics took another hit last week after four more MPs withdrew from his party. Meanwhile, the Shia paramilitary group Kataib Hezbollah has sought to capitalize on Halbusi’s vulnerable position by calling for his removal as speaker of parliament.
