Cabinet’s approved “Government Program” lacks strategic focus

On December 12, cabinet approved the so-called Government Program (al-barnamij al-hukumi), a document that is intended to translate the Sudani government’s priorities into actionable projects and reform measures in accordance with the mandate that was approved by parliament (al-minhaj al-wizari). The Government Program has yet to be published, but Iraq Horizons has reviewed a final draft of the document that dates back to mid-December.
