Can Sudani reform the Ministry of Health?

Muhammad al-Sudani’s first visit as prime minister was to the Ministry of Health, 24 hours after assuming office. Reflecting one of his key policy priorities, Sudani met with his new health minister, deputy ministers and directors general, and spoke frankly about the inadequate level of healthcare that forces many Iraqis to seek treatment abroad.
