Iraq's global ranking on anti-corruption improves slightly

Iraq’s global ranking rose slightly in the newly released Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index. But Iraq’s overall score remained unchanged compared to last year.

Transparency International released its hotly anticipated 2023 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) this week. Iraq ranked 154 out of 180 countries. Iraq rose three places compared to 2022, but its CPI score remained unchanged at 23 out of 100.
