Shortly before departing to New York City for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi attended the weekly meeting of the Coordination Framework on Sunday, in which they discussed both Zaidi’s recent visit to Europe and his upcoming visit to UNGA. Local media reported that the group reached an agreement to postpone the date for disarmament and integration for all non-state armed groups, although this was not mentioned in the Coordination Framework’s press release.
